Beautiful old property very modern inside and clean

The check in to the hotel is down by the entrance and shops, then we were led up to our room halfway up to the Abby. There was no a/c in the room but we expected that. There was a fan. We asked for that. The room was clean.

Considering that the window to our room was along a walking path and easy to climb into, we weren't comfortable leaving it open for air and we needed to leave it open because the room was quite warm. Also there's a good chance bats might fly in. Although we felt safe enough, it is still a tourist destination and bustling with strangers, even late at night, people were walking around.

Located on the Mont

This hotel has a main location and three annexes. Which was not clear in the description when booking. We had the schlep up cobblestone streets and several flights of stairs with my in-laws who are in their 80s. The hotel insisted that we were supposed to call to select our location, but there was no way to know that.
