Breakfast buffet, layout of the hotel and rooms. Location was great. Quiet yet central
Bed size was great yet for unfit or elderly folk it's not ideal to get in and out of. Room size could be adjusted to enable side space for bed.

pragmatic style, very well suited for families, people on a bike tour

friendly staff, clean and nice room
reception closes at 21:00, but they called me ahead to tell me so, pillows are soft and not comfortable for me at least

I know I tend towards perhaps too many enthusiastic 10/10 endorsements here on Booking.com (hosts after all are usually doing their best), but Schwedenhaus in Wismar is possibly the best place we've ever stayed. Ever. Fabulous rooms, brilliantly conceived, lovely staff, and the best breakfast (value, quality, range, volume) on the planet. Wow! Thanks.
As close to perfect as one could ever hope for.
