Delicious Breakfast

Not that there is anything wrong with it, but the Hotel is entirely "Halal" (No alcohol and no pork), I do not recall seeing this in any of the information describing the listing. We did not find out until some of our party visited the bar before supper and asked for a glass of wine and were informed that they only had non-alcoholic beverages.

The views are amazing, you have a porch overlooking thun lake and the mountains. You have an easy access to a small porch above the lake that you can go swimming. The room is large and spacious and the breakfast was great with many choices. You have a Migros a couple minutes away, and bus stops nearby.

No proper mini fridge, there is a minibar with the hotel’s drinks so i had to take them out so i could store my stuff there. No AC in the room, only a fan which didn’t work in our room, when we asked to take care of that they gave us a different fan, which was small and really not that good, but we somehow managed. The bathroom shower drain was clogged and we had to shower with a very low stream to not flood the room. Although you have a migros and buses close, you really don’t have anything else in the area besides that.

The hotel’s location is fantastic and our room was nice. I also want to mention that the waitress during lunch and dinner was very pleasant and professional.

The overall service and management left a negative impression. During breakfast, the main restaurant was completely full, so we sat on the terrace and had to set the table ourselves — not a problem in itself. Meanwhile, one waiter was running around trying to handle everything alone, while a receptionist sat among the guests, calmly eating his breakfast and ignoring the situation. Later, he walked through the restaurant in swimwear and went swimming with a towel over his shoulder, which looked extremely unprofessional. The hotel has potential, but the lack of coordination and discipline in the team seriously affects the guest experience.

All'arrivo la sera, abbiamo trovato la stanza da bagno evidentemente non pulita al meglio. L'addetta al ricevimento si è offerta di pulire ma ho trovato singolare che in una struttura di quel livello ci si debba ridurre a questo. In generale, ambienti non molto curati, ad iniziare dalla sala della prima colazione (comunque buona), al limite del fatiscente. Altra cosa sorprendente è che la sera, dopo le 20, non c'è più nessun impiegato nell'albergo. Trovo ciò improprio e pericoloso, in caso di necessità da parte dei clienti.
