We arrived in Thun by train and took the boat here - the boat trip was quick and lovely and the boat stop for the town of Hilterfingen is just a few minutes walk along the water to the hotel. The staff at the reception desk were immediately warm and welcoming. We loved our room - we had a balcony off the bedroom and one from the living area and we spent lots of time outside enjoying the view. The hotel was quiet and we slept great here. In addition to the on-site restaurant, there were other great restaurants nearby including a Thai restaurant just down the street. We did not have a car and we got around easily by walking and by taking the boat. There were also frequent buses with a stop nearby. We loved exploring Hilterfingen and nearby towns and hope to return to the Hotel Bellevue au Lac in the future!

The clock tower is very close to the hotel and it ticks quite often during the day, but it doesn’t bother us

The location right on the lake was lovely, and there was a dining terrace to enjoy breakfast or dinner. The evening meals were excellent. There was a walkway along the lakeside to enjoy an evening stroll. Our room had a beautiful view over the lake towards the mountains. There was no difficulty parking, and the bus stop was just across the road.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Bellevue au Lac. The view from our room was very beautiful. With sight at the mountains and lake it is the best of two worlds. The personal was friendly and helpful. There is a lot to do in the region. With the panorama card you can travel by bus to many beautiful places.

the location was perfect near from many restaurants view was amazing ,staff were helpful trying their best , room was ok . parking available and free , safe location
breakfast was limited choices , Wednesday the restaurent always close , no room services , no water in the room you have to use tap water ,

The room was very spacious and clean. We booked a room with city view and could still see the lake from one window. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and didn't hesitate to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The property is beautiful and the staff are very friendly! I would stay here again no doubt and I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Amazing place and deserves to be at least a 4 star hotel.

Picturesque location right on the lake front with lots of restaurants close by. Easy parking and friendly helpful staff and easy check in. Big room with plenty of space and two balconies overlooking the lake as well as the park at the side of the hotel. Well stocked and varied breakfast with delicious food.

Great view, even a room without “lake view” has actually a view on a lake.
Very bad mattress on a bed and also heating wasn’t working even after we told stuff to fix it in our room. Was cold at night (soon will be even colder).

We booked a room with partial lake view. namely the room is facing east so no panaramic view but still breathtaking. We could just see Niesen. The room it self is spacious. The bed is comfortable.
We enjoyed our breakfast outside on the terrace. It was a great time.
The hotel is located on a promenade so a little walk is always easy.
There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and all guests could enjoy a free bus ride to the center of Thun.
We did not expect that the road in front of the hotel is such busy. Towards night time there was less cars but the bus was still running 4 times a hour. And it is really noisy. The church right next to the hotel started striking as early as 6am.
If you are not an early bird you need to consider which room to book. Or keep your window and balcony door shut.
