Hotel La Pace

Location ,clean. Basic accomodation but comfortable

Nothing

The hotel is conveniently located right by the train station which made it super easy for our travel. The staff were very friendly and check-in/out was painlessly fast. The mattress was very comfortable and the room was clean.

When arriving at the hotel, we were surprised to find the entrance was inside a shopping arcade and surrounded by unsavoury characters that made us feel a little unsafe. We felt even more unsafe, when coming out of our room to see a group of 4/6 police officers escorting a unruly, shouting man into, what we think, were the toilets of the hotel reception. While we know this isn't the hotel's fault, it is a reflection on the area I think is important to showcase, especially if you're thinking about booking this hotel with small children. The breakfast was also unfortunately quite disappointing and featured the worst coffee I had in Italy. I would say, the photos make the hotel seem very vintage-luxury, however we didn't unfortunately experience this.

Excellent location for station and local restaurants. Breakfast was included and extensive.

A little dated in its look but everything worked and was comfortable

The hotel is close to the train station. Clean interconnecting room with large bathroom and separate toilet. Staff was friendly and helpful.

No coffee/tea facilities in the room. Room was bare and uninviting. Entrance located in a shopping passage.
