Absolutely loved my stay at the Hotel Kalura. The grounds and the common parts were all beautiful, really stylish, warm and welcoming. The staff were kind and gracious. Shout out to Angelo who makes the best Negroni Sbagliato (and remembers your order!). Generous aperitivo hour, pool crystal clean and plenty of sunbeds. Beach area ideal. The breakfast buffet was so extensive - something for everybody and the baristas must have superpowers as they were so quick. I dined one night too and the food was good quality and value for money in a dreamy setting.
I stayed in Mandarino. I loved the private little garden area and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom could do with a little updating. The shower cubicle was a bit tight and not really representative of a 4* property. The windowsill area needs looking at as bits of the plaster are coming off. But I am being picky here as the rest of the facilities really made up for this.

One room close to the elevator very noisy, did not sleep that night, and the other room infested with ants 🐜 my bags in the closet full of ants 😳
