Beautiful settings . Quiet , peaceful. Beautiful views. Great breakfast
Very long walk from room to reception. Annoying when room key constantly becoming deactivated. Outdoor pool very cold. Shame as very lovely pool area. Not able to enjoy the water.
Didn’t eat in the restaurant as was closed . Bar food not great.
Attended when there was a conference on. Tried to find out options for food on my first night. Manager only seemed interested in those attending conference, not other hotel guests. Ended up eating at another hotel

Pool area was good, felt quite private due to lots of separate areas. Bed very comfortable. Good variety at breakfast
Some of the breakfast food wasn’t very hot (mostly the vegetarian cooked food)

The views from so high, over the Med and the Golf course, which abuts two sides of the hotel. (A pity that the golf course does not really welcome visitors)
The attitude through high prices of the golf club towards visitors. (Of course this dislike is not the fault of Eurostars)

The hotel was close to the venue of a wedding we were attending.
We were there early September, and it felt like the hotel had already closed down its operations after the summer season. For example: the pool bar was already permanently closed, at the restaurant there was only 1 or 2 waiters so it felt like no one was looking after you. Early in the morning passing by the pool area (before it had even opened) there were old wet towels laying around, as well as empty cups and glasses and bottles from the day before, so no one had "cleaned up" at the end of the previous day... Multiple examples like that. Overall, just a poor hotel experience, definitely not 5 star worthy, and in general just understaffed. On top of that there was a massive Indian wedding going on for multiple days, which for us was fine because we didn't stay in the resort much, but I can imagine that if you booked your own holiday to "enjoy" the resort, you'd have wanted to know you'd be surrounded by 200-250 wedding guests taking over the hotel.
