Aegeon Beach Hotel

Great location, lovely beach with amazing swimming and view of temple. Hotel is modern and good.

Food was average and in high Summer the beach would be very crowded.

All the rooms have a balcony facing the beach and the sea. Gorgeous view. Each room has a very good screen window onto the balcony. The front desk hands out 2 beach towels per person and then an easy stroll to he beach (30 meters) The atmosphere was very low key and peaceful. The fruit at the breakfast buffet, mainly the melon and the pears were delicious and ripe. I really enjoyed the fruit combination melon/kumquat. The Veranda restaurant dinner was surprisingly good/gourmet: Greek salad and the lamb pilaf and the chocolate dessert. Fond memory.

The Hotel ist directly on the beach, the views under the Poseidon Temple is magnificent. The waters and the beach were very clean, not deep so my kids could play the whole day in the water. Snorkeling seems at first boring but I saw a huge careta careta turtle, a lot of fish in different sizes. The food was excellent.

I would bei looking for a needle in a haystack. It was a very good holiday. Maybe some would want a pool but with a great sea in front of the hotel,

Great location. Great view. Dinner was exceptional - a very pleasant surprise. Went in early October - weather was still very nice and the hotel was not full.

Room and hotel seemed a bit dated (for the price). It could have been cleaner. For example, there was a table next to the stairs on the 1st floor that had at least 15 dirty cups and plates that was there the entire 3 day stay.
