Hotel Playafels

Early check in after disembarking from a cruise ship. Hugo was very kind. The towels were the bet ever. The hotel oozes quality.

Some of the staff in the dining room need to smile more and be a little friendlier.

Clean and tidy

Well kept

The reception staff were lovely, always happy to help and spoke excellent English. Our room (117) was a junior suite with sea view. The view was amazing. The room was large with a coffee maker, kettle and fridge. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the toiletries of a high quality. There was also a safe, (no charge) and towels for the swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of pastries, breads, cold meats and cheese, cooked items plus fruit and yogurt plus juice coffee etc. The swimming pool was blissful, very quiet and it was great to be able to look out at the sea.

Considering we had a junior suite I had hoped for a better seating area. There was a couple of uncomfortable chairs in the corner by the desk. The cleaning could have been better. There was lipstick on one of the cups and the loo hadn't been cleaned when we arrived.

Breakfast was good and view was great

Room was quite basic given the price. We were there for our honeymoon and were disappointed overall. The room was a bit tired and worn. There were only espressos cups - nothing larger and no bottled water.
