House with The pool. Very beautiful private beach. Great food especially for dinner.

The hotel is situated in a stunningly beautiful location. However, the location has both pros and minor cons: - a definite plus is the seclusion, unlike the public beach at Beau Vallon; - a downside is the distance from local venues and amenities (though this isn't a critical issue, it is something that matters to some people). The food in the restaurants is delicious! However, the breakfast selection lacks variety (though this is a concern for some—like my wife—whereas I happily ate the exact same dish every morning without issue 😊). I’m not sure if it’s seasonal, but there were strong waves, making most guests uncomfortable swimming in the sea—though, personally, it didn't bother me in the slightest. Despite the lush vegetation and humidity, there were absolutely no issues with midges or mosquitoes! They simply weren't there! I slept on the terrace for seven nights and wasn't disturbed by insects even once! And the staff were wonderful! Oh, the Seychellois are surely the friendliest people in the world. I always tell everyone that the Seychelles is paradise on earth. This is the third time—and hopefully not the last—that I’ve confirmed this for myself.

Second visit as we enjoyed the location and the hotel first time round two years ago. Always a very good breakfast with lovely views. Very comfortable beds. Great sea view. And of course a warm and friendly welcome from Jameela, offering a nice, cold glass of champagne. The majority of the staff are very pleasant and very helpful.

The first room we were given was certainly not quiet. Located near to the entrance, and what seemed like a ‘junction’ for the end of golf buggy transportation. Also opposite bins. From the minute we arrived, we could hear a lot of activity/noise from outside the room which was very disappointing. Our room was changed when we asked but could still hear road noise at night. The hotel is starting to look tired (we noticed the cover for the pool table was torn). The chairs etc at the beach also looking worse for wear. My husband noticed that a lot of the snorkeling gear was broken. The food, we felt, wasn’t as good as our previous visit. The meal we had at the Italian restaurant was disappointing and we did tell the staff. There was just something missing from the general feel of the hotel that was there on our previous visit that was absent this time
