The InterContinental was stunning and very comfortable. I enjoyed the breathtaking views of the waters and the nature sounds. It was a great stay!

The reception mixed up my room numbers when I checked in which made it confusing for payments as it showed a different name on the system.

The hotel was very pretty with great landscaping and clean shores.

Food options were extremely limited and hard to get reservations at. Food generally across all restaurants were just OK with extremely slow (and often absent) service. Cleaning service didn’t arrive until 9pm one night. Reef near the resort is pretty much dead and leaves much to be desired. WiFi was spotty and extremely slow.

From the management to the bar team, water sports (once cyclone passed) through to the chefs, all excellent and looking to please you in any way. The gentle nature of the Mauritians could do no harm. Loved every minute.

Booked the presidential suite which was not ready for our arrival the 1st night. There were cockroaches in the rooms. Our in room dining service always went to the wrong room as the phoneline was registered under a different room. The net curtains were broken and not fixed during our stay. Despite us reporting the above they were not addressed during the stay.

the property is very nice. could do with more deckchairs as not enough for the guests.

food was average. nearly all the staff in all departments need training on how to give good customer service. it lets the Intercontinental brand down

Welcoming was not good. Services was not good. Bathroom was not clean. Bed was not confortable. Mosquitos in room atleast they could provide vape.

the restaurant staff- they are the best, like all of them. We have the best experience, special shoutout to Vimla, she‘s the best! and also to the Pastry Chef/manager(?). i forgot his name. But he surprised me with a slice of my favorite cake from the resort. the food- we like the food variety here. my husband is a vegetarian and he had so many options. And we also love their pastries. They were delicious! the room- i like how the room is set up. It gives a sort of holding place, before the bed area. the pool- it was an experience watching the sunset while we were in the pool. the location- sunset location, such a beautiful view of the sunset.

the front office- omg they were sooooooo slow. we waited a loooooong time to be checked-in. We kept on asking them for updates because it was like we were disregarded after we filled out the check-in forms. Even check-out was slow as well! Terrible experience!

Heated pools was really good! The buffet is awesome.

The check-in process is a bit longer than expected. We understand that we asked for an upgrade, but I think the staff did not know if our room was ready or not which lead to many, really many "wait a minute, we check something".

Lovely hotel, food and great staff. Beach and pools well maintained and the lobby is truly stunning. Food and drinks were also good value for money. Also worth noting that the hotel has some complimentary water activities - we did the glass bottomed boat one morning which was fabulous.

Make sure you book the restaurants well in advance as they do get booked out more than 24hrs before. It would also been helpful to have some further information about the restaurants and what was on offer at the beginning of our stay as many of them do a la carte breakfast which is better value than the buffet and in a nicer setting. I also think the hotel should consider going cashless as a couple of times when we paid by cash it was a long process to get change.

the feather pillow wasn’t comfortable, there should be a variety for the guest.. and the AC had some problems that I could adjust it.
