The room was clean and a reasonable size. The staff were lovely. The bar is very pleasant and has a reasonable selection for a small establishment.
Breakfast service wasn't great. We had to ask for cereal bowls on 2 different days, the selection and amount of cooked food varied from day to day and the bread needs to be better covered. It was going quite stale on our last day. There was also a shortage of cutlery.

Staff friendly and location convenient for onward journey. Beds comfortable and clean
Kerb appeal was pretty poor. Carpets looked like they needed to be replaced and light fittings missing in both of our rooms. Beds really comfortable but very little space around them.
