Royal Clifton Hotel

As we were with my sister who is 86 years old we wanted to look after her, the room she had had a brick wall in front of the window although they confirmed a sea view for her next to us. They changed the room but still no view and the room was red hot as the radiator in the room wouldn’t switch off. She had no sleep the first night for that reason, we were very Cross. We appreciate the Hotel is very old in terms of modern plumbing but that sort of heat should be sorted. Our room was the opposite no heating. asked for the towel rail to be heated and they did this but after that no hot water from the wash basin. Price wise and breakfast no complaints, however we won’t be returning.

Comfortable room with a very comfy bed. Glad they provided a fan as weather was very warm. Breakfast was good and well cooked.

Could have done with more pictures around the walls of the hotel

Excellent room at a very reasonable price. A sea front room with a big bathroom. The price was unbelievable value with a breakfast at £9.95 extra. Buffet breakfast was also great value. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Would stay again willingly.

I cant fault the hotel or the room or the bed. I just didn't get any sleep all night due to music coming from near the hotel room which was "thud thud" till 04.30 am so got no sleep at all.
