Quick response to e mails prior to visit, friendly staff , comfortable to chat to other guests in the bar.
Bar tender very friendly [appologies didnt catch his name but curly hair and glasses you know who i mean LOL !!]
Room was in Lakeside annex rather than main hall however on the night it worked well due to issues i believe you had with a Young Farmers event so didnt get disturbed.Annex room did look a little tired and in need of slight TLC but comfortable .
Stayed for 2 nights in end and had evening meal and breakfast in hotel and noticed the inconsistency with portion sizes from 1 service to next , that said food was lovely.Wished i has booked both nights direct with hotel rather one with a booking agency .

Beautiful building in a lovely setting.
Our room had a wasps nest right next to the window which meant we couldn’t open the window. (We did report this )
The extractor fan in our bathroom wasn’t working which meant the bathroom was steamed up for quite a long time, making it difficult to do your make up as mirror steamed up.
The bedside lamp was wired up to the main bedroom
light which meant a bright light overhead when trying to read at bedtime.
