In middle of broadway, very convenient. Lovely gardens - and adjacent field for dogs to run about safely.

Room way too hot. Curtains were not pulled to ward off afternoon heat and fan was inadequate. Window broken so not able to open. Therefore unable to sleep. The cheaper rooms (still expensive) in annex were rather down at heels, difficult to access and overlooked parking/building. Better to bite bullet and pay for more expensive ones - or go elsewhere. Service at breakfast and experience at check in (30 mins wait) very poor.

Dinner good but slightly overpriced. Breakfast was first class. Broadway is disney like and worth a visit. Hotel is old and wonderful and feels very plush and comfortable. Spa and pool etc looked great, even though we did not sue them. Courtyard is pretty with a nice atmosphere. All staff were friendly and very helpful and I cannot fault them.

Room was fine but mine (27) had some noise from an A/C unit outside. Drinks were overpriced, especially from the bar. Unecessarily so we thought.

The hotel has a perfect location for exploring Broadway. The bar staff were good, the spa team were lovely.

The bedrooms are tired and felt a bit musty. At 2.30 on my second day I had to request my bedroom to be serviced, to be told that they service rooms up to 5pm which I have never had in a hotel before. The dinner in James Martins grill was average and over priced for what was delivered and not a good point for JM reputation. Buttery mash which was dry, veg of peas and broad beans with tender stem with cabbage and tender stem without peas or broad beans. Breakfast was super busy, hot breakfast not very warm. They had a wedding in on the Saturday and didn’t seem to have enough staff to cope. They are resting on the name and location and we were all quite underwhelmed. They seem to be missing leadership throughout.
