Accommodation and location were fantastic, views were amazing.
The pool table was derelict and should nit be in a hotel of this calibre. Replace or remove altogether.

Lovely location. 2 dinners we ate were tasty and good value for money
Better kind of biscuits in bedroom required

Superb grounds, the room was beautiful
The bar at the hotel relatively basic, the pool table is grubby and worn with broken cues and missing balls. A small thing.

Beautiful countryside location, well presented rooms, good breakfast
Unfortunately let down by the clientele. The hotel was bigger and busier than expected and we were kept awake until morning by drunk neighbours shouting, swearing and banging on doors. It was unclear how to contact reception in the night (later spotted the QR code for WhatsApp) and staff weren’t very receptive of feedback when we checked out. They may need to look into stopping alcohol service for intoxicated guests (it’s a quiet, country style pub) and putting up some signs about noise. Otherwise would have been a lovely stay.
