The hotel staff was helpful and the hotel is ideally located in the city center and transport was not a problem. The rooms were spacious and one had a choice of either taking a shower or a bath
The TV in the room was not working

I recently stayed at Hollow on the Square City Hotel CBD in Cape Town. The reception staff were wonderful and very welcoming throughout my stay. The room itself was humongous and offered plenty of space, which I really appreciated.
The location is convenient, with about a pleasant 15-minute walk to the V&A Waterfront using the footbridge.
Unfortunately, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room, possibly because it may not have been used for some time. The duvet cover also had quite a strong unpleasant smell, although thankfully the bed sheets smelled fresh and clean.
