The views in the upper Room are nice and location is good.

Our main disappointment was the overall value for money. The room on the upper floor was acceptable in itself, but certainly not at the price we paid. The bathroom, particularly the toilet, was extremely small, and the bed was only a small queen size. While some of the furniture had clearly been replaced or updated, there was no consistent style or design throughout the room. Older pieces were mixed with modern furniture, wooden finishes with metal cupboards, creating a rather mismatched appearance. Individually, most items were fine, but together the room lacked character and a cohesive, stylish feel. The service and cleanliness were also disappointing. When we arrived at around 1 pm, the room was apparently already ready, but we were told to wait. We therefore went out for lunch, giving the staff plenty of additional time. Unfortunately, when we eventually checked in, the toilet was still dirty. To their credit, this was cleaned immediately after we reported it. What made this particularly frustrating was the rather strict approach to check-out. Staff initially insisted on a 10 am departure, eventually allowing us just around 15 extra minutes. Considering the earlier delay at check-in, this felt unnecessarily inflexible. During our two-night stay, the floor was not cleaned after the first night, nor were the used glasses and cups cleaned or replaced. In addition, noise from breakfast preparations started as early as 7 am, making a peaceful morning difficult. Overall, the accommodation itself was not terrible, but the combination of inconsistent furnishings, limited housekeeping, early morning noise and rather inflexible service made it difficult to justify the relatively high room rate. At a lower price, some of these shortcomings might have been easier to overlook, but at this price level, we expected considerably more attention to detail and a better overall experience.

Incredible views, wonderful breakfasts. We loved walking out of our room onto the beach. Gorgeous sunsets and moonrises.
