Old fashioned charm, fabulous views & location.

Hated the food and dinner menus - lacking genuine Italian flavours and therefore hugely disappointing. Mean breakfasts and tiny portions. The anti mosquito device in our room did not work so we had mosquitoes in our room.

The location and view is amazing!

As and old house it has limited comfort possibilities. However, it suits to all your needs

We loved the beautiful setting and the staff were very friendly.

We booked a room with panoramic garden views, but the first room we were shown looked over another part of the building mostly. When we raised this concern the lady at reception moved us to a room with much better views.

Beautiful historical location great breakfast

Pensione Bencista' is exceptionally charming and beautiful. in a historic building and gardens of old olive trees, flowers and herbs that the chef uses in his delicious menus. The view is unparalleled, from the terrace and dining area you can watch stunning sunsets over Florence that will take your breath away. The staff was extremely gracious and welcoming and professional.

Nothing I can think of. I felt welcomed, comfortable, the meals were some of the best of my trip, and the building and grounds are uniquely lovely.

The Pensione was breathtaking as we came up by taxi. It was an idyllic setting and our first trip to Fiesole. We booked our stay based on the cooking class arranged between the Pensione and chef, Gabriele Corcos, where we had access to the Pensione’s kitchen along with the head chef who joined us through the cooking experience. it was an absolutely delightful day and culminated with sharing the meal and wines with both chefs. Our thanks to the staff for hosting the event as well as the overall relaxed experience at the Pensione.

I cannot say one thing that we did not like.

Everything! We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't even leave the place for short rides around Toscana as planned :) From the spectacular view over Firenze to the charming garden to enjoy a drink or two under the Tuscan sun. Breakfast and dinner are delicious too. We can't way to be back.

The property was very interesting. all the staff were friendly and helpful

The property was over priced. they offered a dinner and breakfast ‘package’ for €40 per person, but the dinner menu was all cold foods. the breakfast was not good with little choice. Taking the €40 option we had very little change of €260 for one night for two people! There were no complimentary items such as water and coffee at dinner

Immersed in so much history, surrounded by nature, on top of the hill, so peaceful that you don't want to leave.

basic rooms with no real atmosphere great views if you get there have dinner was wonderful staff except reception who was farastic were both rude and in helpful and 15 minutes before breakfast was finished refused to serve eggs said they had run out and ham breakfast was limited options and get in early or the grumpy staff will treat you with bad lies .
