Lovely spacious room with a clean bathroom. Very comfortable bed with good quality, heavy duvets. Also, the room had Netflix on the TV which was great for entertaining the children on wet days, and a fan in the wardrobe had it been too warm…Both of these were nice, thoughtful additional features that aren’t available everywhere. Polite, helpful staff in the dining room at breakfast time…I was on crutches with two very young children, and the young waitress was very kind in carrying over drinks, breakfast etc.. even though it was a buffet breakfast where you help yourself…this kindness/helpfulness was so very much appreciated! The children also loved the pool facilities offered by the hotel which kept them busy on a particularly wet and stormy day during our stay. Proximity to Emerald Park was an added bonus…it’s only 30 minutes away. Dublin Zoo is not that far either. Great place for a family holiday.
The breakfast was very peppery…the sausages, mushrooms and pudding all tasted of pepper, which is not to everyone’s taste, particularly young children 🙈 The carpet had a few stains, which is to be expected in a family room, I suppose. Would be nice if the Kids Club was for all children, not just 4-10 year olds. Very poor view of the fans on the roof, which also blew smoke into the room when the windows were opened.

The food was nice, dinner and breakfast. The staff I dealt with were really pleasant. My kid enjoyed the kids club and pool.
The price was a little over rated for what you got especially for a week day night not weekend. The shower wasn’t great and no matter what we did we the floor got soaked so that could be updated, the hair dryers could also be updated and the room was a little run down although it was clean, the tv could be fitted to the wall better more secured and maybe positioned more to the middle so all can see clearly. The previous night we stayed in a different hotel 35 mins away which was a good bit cheaper and worth every cent.

Location and pool facilities were good. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were lovely, especially the housekeeping team. Public areas of the hotel were very well maintained and welcoming.
Bar Food menu was very limited so only ate at the hotel on one night and was a little disappointed. Room was nice but walls were very thin so could hear lots of noise from next door rooms.

There were good options for breakfast a lot of variety and it was close to a lot of shops and restaurants plus free parking is a bonus. Location was great
We stayed in the family room - with a 1.5 year old and a 5 years old and in the family room heating is only on certain times which doesn't make sense as we arrived around half 4 and heating apparently starts at 7pm so the room was chilly and we spent ages turning the heaters on and waiting as it was a cold and wet day so we called reception and said the heating isn't working and then a man comes in with a portable heating and tells us heating is on set timers and we can't just turn the heaters on. We used the portable heater for a while and then we had to stop using it as our baby touched it twice and didn't seem safe for a family room to use. For a 4 star hotel especially for the family room this was a bit strange that heating only comes on a certain time and then during the night it turns off again which again the room got the cold so for families and small kids I wouldn't stay again especially when it's not in the summer. There was so no soap in the room which we had to ring reception for again just small things which should be expected, the carpet in the room had some stains and overall the family rooms needed updated like some paint coming off the walls and smart TVs in family rooms would be good as there were no cartoons or kids channels available in the evening.

Deluxe room was lovely the bed was perfect and room size was good
The hotel is clean and run very well .
The staff are excellent, Megan at reception was a great help with every aspect of our stay .. thank you
We booked a superior king double room but this room did not measure up to our expectations or needs, Megan moved us to a deluxe double and the difference is massive .. my advice is choose your room carefully.

Very nice and cosy hotel. Leisure centre is great, very relaxing. Nice and spacious triple room, bathrobes and slippers are in the room so you can go to sauna and pool only in your bathrobe. Lavazza coffee machine in the room. Nice breakfast.
On the first night when we came back from the bar we had no electricity as the contact on the card was not working and you need key card to run the electricity in the room. They offered to switch rooms however it was 1 am and we were all unpacked, can’t really pack in the dark so we stayed and they fixed it in the morning. However next day every time we came back to the room our keys would not work so we’d have to walk back all the way to reception to get them coded again. It wasn’t the case that we kept them close to our phones as I went to the spa only in my robe without my phone and when I came back my key was not working again. That was really frustrating. We didn’t get any discount or apology for that inconvenience which I find unprofessional for a 4 star hotel. Also on checkout no one asked how was our stay.
Had brunch in the attached cafe, ordered eggs Benedict, supposed to be cooked to order, came out cold. Returned them and got the same plate back just reheated which is unacceptable.
