The room and location exceeded our expectations. There is a huge, stunning garden to walk through at the back, and the river running through the property is lovely. The room and bed were great. Lovely spa area!

Unfortunately some of the staff had very poor behaviour. We specifically booked a hotel that claimed to feature high speed wifi suitable for working, as we work from home. Unfortunately it was not working well in our room. I performed routine speed tests that revealed it was not working. When I went to the desk to (very politely, mind you) ask for assistance, the staff member immediately berated me, yelling "What do you want me to do? It's working! It's somehow working in every other room!" I mean, sometimes wifi is temperamental. I cannot believe it's possible to yell at guests unprovoked. How does such a business survive? We were almost too uncomfortable to go to dinner afterwards and my wife wanted to leave. Then another staff member gave us attitude as well! Thankfully the other staff members were warm and helpful.

Located not far from the highway, in the main square of a small, traditional Bavarian town, this castle hotel features spacious rooms and a breakfast selection that far exceeds what you’d expect for its category. Set in a beautiful location with fresh air, it’s an excellent choice. I highly recommend it.

The WIFI could be faster and more stable.
