Hotel Sonnhof

This was a very enjoyable hotel stay. The lady at reception was very pleasant and gave me a whole host of information and leaflets on check-in, plus the pass which entitles you to free public transport in the Innsbruck area. The room was nice with all the necessary amenities and the wi-fi worked fine. There was an included breakfast, which is a rare occurrence these days and it was pretty decent too. Innsbruck is about half an hour away by tram and the tram stop - once you find the shortcut - is only about 3 minutes walk away. The tram ride is scenic. The hotel is located in the pretty village of Mutters and there are beautiful views to be enjoyed. The hotel restaurant was an unexpected surprise too as I had two very high quality dinners there. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try the swimming pool.

Lovely hotel in Mutters, the village itself is cute and there're some shops (supermarket, bakery, farmer who sells bio product..). Staff was polite and friendly, we were able to communicate in German, English and even French. Our room had an amazing view! Literally waking up with a view. Our room seemed to be renovated and renewed. Breakfast is served everyday and we had plenty options to choose from, everyone has their own table and they ask what you would like to drink (great service!). There's also a restaurant for dinner with good food options, also for those who are vegetarian. Sauna and swimming pool are great for relaxation after hiking all day long. Overall a good stay and we also received the Innsbruck Welcome Card, which included free transportation, discounts and even a free ride at the Mutteralm Bergbahn.

Mutters can be a little further away from the city, approximately 30 minutes. Mainly due to the fact the tram only runs 2x a hour. We missed some tea or coffee in the room.

La struttura si trova in una zona molto tranquilla adiacente a Innsbruck. Camere pulite e molto calde. Nel ristorante da italiano posso dire che ho mangiato bene.

La piscina interna “SPA” diciamo che a mio parere la boccerei, dato la temperatura dell’acqua non molto calda, tendente al freddo direi. Prezzo un po alto se si considerano dei servizi e zone da migliorare. A mio parere un buon 3 stelle ma non 4
