The breakfast was good, and when cooked fresh the cooked breakfast was good. I don’t, however, like buffet breakfasts as the bacon goes hard. The staff were unfailingly helpful and willing to try their best to meet every request. They were always smiling and pleasant.
Housekeeping didn’t arrive until 5pm one day.

My stay at Hazelwood Castle exceeded all expectations. The building itself is absolutely stunning and surrounded by beautiful grounds. My room (Rose) was clean, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Excellent breakfast, really appreciated the cafetiere of coffee, small detail but such a refreshing change from those machines that produce bland awful coffee. Staff were without exception lovely and the location is stunning, a hidden gem. Didn't eat in the restaurant or bar but will definitely do so when I next visit.

Beautiful location and gorgeous building and grounds
Room wasn't ready for check in. Small TV in our lounge area kept breaking up, the large TV in the bedroom didn't have a remote so we couldn't work it and despite reporting we never got a response. Meal in Vavasour restaurant, the steak was inedible at £34 for a rump steak we expected better.Buffet breakfast hot items were luke warm
