There is no air conditioning in the room, it was very hot and uncomfortable. The check in was meant to be at 15:00 but the room was not ready and consequently available at 15:40pm which is inconvenient. Opening the window caused another issue which were letting in bugs into the room and there's no netting on the window. This caused some uncomfortable bites in the night. Staff were not helpful and disorganised. Overall disappointing

Really old facilities, old furniture and not really well looked after. Overall poor looking. Pictures must be really edited as it doesn’t look any similar. Rooms are not well isolated so any noise in the corredor or next room is heard. Really poor breakfast for a 4 star hotel.

The location was easy to find good car park even though some people parked really stupid. The breakfast was good and staff pleasant.

The only thing is that hotel needs to modernise the rooms. The decor needs to start with new carpet.

Breakfast was excellent. I like the fact that the staff still allow u to finish your breakfast and bot rushed out of the breakfast room.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, the setting was very relaxing.

Despite being very friendly, the staff hovered waiting to take plates away, often while my wife was still eating. Much better to wait until both/all parties have finished.

Payed for a much bigger room but because BOOKING .COM didn't inform hotel of booking they rented out the room I booked .Only regular size rooms were available. So although overall was a disappointment but it wasn't the hotels fault but BOOKING .COM WAS to blame 🤷‍♂️

Hello, I recently stayed at the London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel and had a fantastic time. Let me explain why. First and foremost, the surroundings and building are simply stunning. It was previously a church, which adds to the place's unique vibe. The atmosphere is both charming and soothing. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all of the necessities. Some of the rooms are extremely modern and sleek, and I was fortunate enough to stay in one of them. And the progress they've made in just a few months is undeniable; they're constantly upgrading the place. The wifi is super fast and reliable for those who need to stay connected - ideal for business travelers. In addition, the hotel is generally quiet and peaceful, allowing you to get a good night's sleep. Furthermore, there are numerous pubs and even a decent nightclub within a few minutes' walk. As a result, you can make the most of your stay and enjoy the local nightlife. But it was the staff that really stood out to me. They were extremely helpful and kind, making certain that I had everything I needed. It's a nice touch that adds to the hotel's overall positive experience. Overall, if you're looking for a charming and peaceful place to stay in London, the London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel is a must-see.

One negative point I have to mention is that during my stay, I had placed a breakfast request card on my door handle for in-room dining, as I had an important Zoom call that morning. Unfortunately, the breakfast never arrived and when I checked, I noticed that the card was still on my door. I had to call reception to ask about it, and while they were apologetic, I never received my breakfast. It was a bit disappointing, especially as I had made a special request. However, it did not alter my opinion of the establishment as a whole because I have worked in hotels for almost 20 years and am familiar with how external factors, such as a lack of staff or overworked employees, can affect day-to-day operations. Nevertheless, keep this in mind and make sure to inform the front desk if you want breakfast served in your room.
