Sure Hotel by Best Western Reading

Good carpark. Clean, comfortable room with refrigerator and kitchenette.

Nothing

The location with free parking, close to the uni and a direct bus route to the city centre was super convenient. The room was large as we had booked the family room (before my son decided not to come but stay with his sister instead), was fairly basic and a little bit tired due to age. It was nice that there was a fridge and microwave as well as the usual kettle and drinks. Due to the time of the year, the thin duvets were quite nice, so the sleeping temperature was perfect. I thought it was quiet, despite being right next to the back door, and as I was exhausted, I slept like a log.

My partner, unfortunately, was not as exhausted as I was and was woken in the night by shouting, fighting, banging on doors and someone retching. He believed the majority of the noise came from the floor above. He wondered if this hotel was being used for social housing/homeless people. Taps and bathroom fittings were tarnished and would improve the look of the bathroom if cleaned to a shine.

tutto perfetto. colazione top

Very helpful staff, good sized quiet room and a decent breakfast

Had to change room three times due to size, lack of facilities and damage in room i.e. damaged window and toilet that could not be flushed. Would be much improved by some good maintenance and attention to detail
