It was very clean and modern
I did not like the change they’ve done downstairs. I was quite taken aback by the open plan. Having the reception, bar, lounge and dining area all open made me feel vulnerable. The continuous spa music in the background was very annoying and for us only served to highlight how quiet and boring the place was as it almost made us feel like we shouldn’t talk. I also didn’t like having to sign in for the swimming as again, it was in front of everyone eating etc. The pool was nice but the jacuzzi didn’t work and the second morning the sauna hadn’t been turned on. Breakfast tasted lovely but buffet was extremely limited. We went to hotel next door for dinner and atmosphere. These are just things that weren’t to our taste but if these things aren’t important to you then it could be the perfect place.

Breakfast was good. Hotel is on a bus route. Manager was extremely helpful.
Nothing in our opinion.

After a very long drive, it was lovely to be greeted with a friendly smile, and a welcome. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. I had forgotten that there were spa facilities but with no swim suit I could not use, but the pool and sauna etc looked fabulous.
Adequate free parking, dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The staff were exceptional. Very attentive and always smiling.
