Breakfast good selection but no offer of fried eggs.

The breakfast was very good, the pool was excellent and the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated.
Drinks at the bar were very expensive.

The room in the Wellington Lodge was a good size and very clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, the bathroom was a great size with a large, powerful shower and the buffet breakfast had plenty of good options.
The setting itself is beautiful and overall, it’s very reasonably priced.
Our stay didn’t get off to the best start…the new style wooden key cards refused to work in the slot to turn the electricity on - despite both of us trying both cards in every possible direction like we were cracking a safe. After 7 attempts to get through to Reception, we were (predictably) asked if we’d tried the key cards…very helpful! 🤦🏻♀️
To top it off, the wardrobe rail promptly fell out, which made the anti-theft coat hangers feel slightly unnecessary!

We did not get much time to see it but when my wife shoe broke just before a wedding they really helped in fixing it
Checking in at midnight staff could not careless and took ages when we were tired
