We have been travelling for weeks and have stayed in multiple properties. This hotel was such a surprise. Excellent facilities, efficient staff, great food and good value for money.
Close to the motorway, however you can’t hear it once inside.

Everything!! This grand old house is well appointed. The staff are some of the best that we have ever experienced. So friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. Our bed and pillows most comfortable.

All staff - couldn't do enough for you throughout the stay, from the reception, gym, bar and restaurant. Everyone was friendly, more than helpful and cared about the service being provided. Food and service in the restaurant was very good.

Very close to the function we were attending .
Room was clean tidy .
Receptionist was lovely
Saturday morning breakfast was lovely
Pool , steam room and
Sauna were good
Room 12 had everyone walking past it and a wedding was going on Saturday night and we were disturbed up until 1am by “guests” etc chatting in corridor or on stairs right by our room . At one point 2 young kids played knock down ginger on our door and ran off .
Room above us had very creepy floors which transferred via our ceiling .
Breakfast Sunday morning was like a scene out of Faulty Towers with one table being moved numerous times to different tables cos of dirty tableware etc .
Asked for more coffee which the waiter forgot to get (think we were the 3rd table to ask and not get stuff )
