room was nice, clean, evening food and breakfast was good
room 117, the most insane place to put the bog roll holder ever! behind where you're sat, and quite high from a seated position, then when you grab the paper with one hand it snaps off one sheet at a time because of the stupid design of bog roll holder, you literally have to get up, messy unwiped bum and all and grab the paper gently to pull out several sheets. worst bog moment since Wills first day on The Inbetweeners (youtube it). who ever placed the bog roll holder there i award you no points and i send you home with no prize!

Restaurant is good. Room is very good. We stopped there because it was convenient as we were driving up towards Chester. Liked it so much, we stayed there again on our way back. C'mon. Why do I have to write more? This is kind of pedantic. I said all I want to.
No elevator. Only complaint. Rest was great.

I arrived onaFriday of a long weeked, only room available was 209, a twin room. Once booked in headed to bar for a 0% Guiness as a non drinker, profuse apologies that it was the last one, and strong assurances that the stock would be replenished for the weekend. Breakfast was a good selection between Continental or Cooked, excellent eggs bendict on first morning (Saturday) Saturday Night headed for the Savvy Fox bar, plenty of action as an event was on, asked for a 0% Guiness, opps no delivery, headed down to the White Lion Holt to get the drink I prefer over 0% Peroni. Room was clean, sheets spotless and the bed comfortable, but on Sunday Morning I saw people checking out so I asked for a ground floor double room, only to be told Mr Cooper you are better staying where you are as its a little more noiser downstairs, I did not ask about the noise, I asked about the bed, anyway I remained in 209. Moving onto Bank Holiday Monday, go down for breakfast, the Savvy Fox is in total darkness, no power, no IT but more importantly, no hot breakfast. It was only then that I realised this was a long weekend. even so I booked and stayed another evening. The list of issues did not spoil my enjoyment of staying at the Wrexham Hotel and/or enjoying the Savvy Fox, but surely a little forward planning of your drinks stock, prior to a long weekend would not of gone amiss, nor would a back up generator for those unfortunate moments when the power went out. Overall an enjoyable time, even if the events made me think of Fawlty Towers, but they did raise a smile which I shall never forget.
