Taj Exotica was a lovely place to stay. The staff were humble, warm and helpful throughout. Chef Ashish took special care of us and prepared dishes on request; the prawns were among the best I have had. The water around the resort was fine, and the equipment available met our needs.
At breakfast at 24 Degrees around 7:30 a.m., service was slower and the team appeared stretched, perhaps because they were understaffed. At about 9:30 a.m. in the same restaurant, service was excellent. More consistent service at the earlier hour would improve the experience.

I booked Taj for my birthday and it was one of the best decision. Siya was best at front office and my host Simo made sure we are having a great time. We loved Indian breakfast Aloo Puri a lot. Resma is doing incredible job at restaurant. Our room was perfect and clean. If I visit Maldives, I will definitely stay again.

Proximity to airport for a short stay.
Calm bay like sea with lots of fish life.
Beautiful white sandy beaches where you could get complete privacy to enjoy the peace.
Beautiful sunset bar.
A poor reflection of Taj brand.
Management of restaurants was poor during breakfast with long time for food service.
Cleanliness of the coffee cup and saucer at the flagship Mediterranean restaurant was really poor. The salt in the food at the Mediterranean restaurant was extremely high and we gave feedback as the red snapper fish dish was inedible.
Guests were allowed at dinner in bathrobe. We complained but it continued to happen! Not what I would expect at a 5 star hotel
