It is places like this that make Portugal such a wonderful country for travelers. The inn is a stonehouse set in a vineyard just a short drive from Lamego and the Doura valley. There are great views from the property and and the beds, rooms, and furnishings are all of high quality and very tasteful. They do a great job to avoid using strong chemical scents throughout which we appreciated very much. Thank you for a brief but wonderful stay.

Welcoming staff, felt authentic, lovely views over valley, completely relaxing. Great pool. Tasty dinner, free flowing wine.
Dinner was a little small by Portuguese standards though tasty. 35€ a head. Long way out of town which is a pity as Lamego is an interesting place.

It's located close to the town centre of lamego by car. The quinta has beautiful views. The breakfast was basic but very tasty. The staff were friendly. The tennis court was open, and free racquets and balls were provided. The common areas were nice too.
The pool was not operational. This information was not on booking.com. If I knew the pool was under renovation, I wouldn't have booked it. My kids were extremely disappointed, and no compensation was offered. The family room is fine for 1 night but I wouldn't stay longer as it's quite small. The mattress of the double bedroom needs replacing as I could fill every coil in it. It would've also been nice if the hair dryer was in the room. Remember to ask for this from reception before you wash your hair.
