The bed was super comfy and the villa itself was quiet and the jungle was full of birds and squirrels. The staff were amazing and the free breakfast every morning was a delicious a la carte menu. A great place to stay in Ubud.
We had two issues with the toilet which were fixed straight away and phone issues, but the staff advised us of the phone before we entered the room. To make bookings for dinner and the free shuttle into the centre of town we were able to use WhatsApp, so no biggie.

If you want to sight see don't stay here because you won't want to leave. This place is perfection and this is coming from a well travelled often family solo traveller. The staff, food and the best message I've ever had. I skipped a lot of sightseeing because why leave when you're in Paradise. My nephew ended up staying on his own for a couple of days and we are still talking about this place. Bali is a long way from home but I would want to go back to just stay at The Purist.
Just not there are two pools one buy the spa and one in front of the restaurant. If you want more privacy go to the spa pool.

Quiet location with stunning grounds and gardens beautiful rooms, pools and lovely restaurant.
But the staff were the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever encountered.

Food was expensive, limited shuttle service to downtown, very expensive taxi service.
Booked jungle villa but there was no jungle view, and swimming pool was not clean filled with bugs and flies and my main door was broken as a result I can't lock it well so was worried for safety. And there was no afternoon tea kind of things. I would have got better villa with great views in same price.
