The location was out of this world. Plenty of areas to walk and close to the town.
The atmosphere of this hotel was stunning.
I am afraid the meals all had added alcohol and cream. So could not dine there every day.
The Sunday roast was plentiful.

Great location, very clean. Lovely view from window. Friendly staff. Coffee machine in room was good. The breakfast food was nice and tasty.
The coffee at breakfast was dreadful, basically undrinkable. Other tables were not happy with it either. Maybe introduce French press of other coffee choices.

The property is in a pretty location and is within walking distance of the town. We loved the bar area decor.
The room we had was a little tired looking, particularly the bathroom which had peeling paint and mouldy areas around the shower, other parts of the hotel needed some tlc and were quite dated.
The shower wasn’t very powerful and the tap over the basin had a very weak water flow.

The staff were absolutely amazing .
The car park not being immediately on the hotel grounds . There is no lift. No advise when booking as to rooms on top/3rd floor were up Very steep stairs . I understand the property is old but it was no fun . The room was tiny and unbelievably hit . The window did not give much relief and did not then close properly . The rooms dated bed squeaky and a little lumpy. I was really disappointed .
