It was a decent sized room, gorgeous views, beds were lovely and warm, staff were excellent, food was good.
The toilet seat was broken and dirty, the room was icy cold and had no carpet to keep your feet warm, food took a long time to come, dining room was very cold (could have started a fire in fireplace). The road was terrible to get in (potholes large enough to swallow your car!)

Wow, don't know what to begin to describe the place. It's really a wonderful stay and the place is very beautiful. The hut standing on the water. Vertu nice design. Heater, WiFi, seating over looking the pond. Pizza is a must try here. Staff are very nice and kind. You can see they do their best to take care of you. Wonderful place

The feel of the place. We arrived at night and left early the next morning so we didn't see much, except our rooms
There was not enough toilet paper in our room. A roll tht was almost finished and no spares... 🤦🏽♀️

The view, not too far from town, it's quiet, cellphone network abit of an issue and there's no WiFi, but good if you want a retreat

Beautifully located rooms. Lovely gardens.
Room was nice. Dinner was OK.
Thier site on Booking.com says wifi everywhere but it is only available at the restaurant. Cell coverage is between 0 -1 bar but mostly 0. Says they 4 star. I'd rate the room 3 star but everything else as 2 star. 4 star should have fridges in the rooms. No fridges.
They don't have ice !!!
Not much available for breakfast so we ate somewhere else. My wife wanted coffee and toast for breakfast. They only have toast and butter. Nothing else to put on the toast. Besides the room on their dam, there is no value for money. No hand towels. No shampoo. Only a soap dispenser that you you have to move from the basin to the shower. No soap tray in the shower so you have to put everything on the floor.

The food was incredible and the view was amazing.
I would have liked to have been shown our room instead of just given a key and a number.

The location was excellent and easily accessible.
We were informed that the restaurant would be open for dinner and breakfast in the welcome letter. We were looking forward to this as it is the top-rated restaurant in town according to Trip Advisor. On arrival, we were informed that all facilities were closed.

No body wash liquid, no microwave and no breakfast option on Sundays.Also network reception is poor

The convenience and pricd
They tried hard to please and went out of there way , management supervion was lacking , staff needs training in order to deliver an excellent standard of service especially in the hospitality business. . excellent facility but lacked ambience and the wow factor .

The bird life and quietness
The restaurant is not up to standard. We asked for milk and coffee for the room, staff gave us sour milk went back to ask for 2nd time milk was still sour. Ended up not being to have coffee for most of the time.

The meals were delicious. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas and the nachos. All staff were friendly and accommodating and available at any time if we needed anything. I will definitely come back.

The view from the rooms over the little dam is lovely. It is a very small town so we didn't expect much the place was very charming, with friendly staff and delicious food.
The verandah looking over the dam needs a bit of attention.
