Room was quiet, visually stunning, very comfortable and had every facility we could have wanted. Staff were exceptional in both their advice, discussion, presentation and helpfulness.

Location is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants and the wine tram. Parking on site was easy. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Modern and clean bathroom. Everything was of a very high standard. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Perfect location to explore the picture postcard town of Franschhoek. Buffet breakfast although simple was beautifully presented and enhanced with hot food options. The small quiches/frittatas were delicious. We stayed in the Mountain Suite and the accommodation was spacious and comfortable. It’s own wrap around terrace being a real bonus and a great place to relax. All in all, the Avondrood is a perfect representation of the delights of Franschhoek.

Pool looked cloudy (not sure it should have been) but due to weather we didn’t use it anyway.

Very nice breakfast that was served in the realaxing garden.
