Relais Bergson

The hotel is an easy 20 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord and only a few minutes by Metro. There are two Metro stations nearby. The nearest, Bolivar, is only one minute away but taking the metro from there will almost always require one extra change. It is advisable to walk a few minutes more to the Jaurès station, where there are more lines to choose from. The neighbourhood is lively but not touristic or in any way unpleasant. We did not find the street to be noisy from inside the hotel, which is on a more quiet part of the street. Our room was clean and made up every day and the staff, depending on the individual, were polite or really friendly and helpful. We did not try the breakfast, as there are plenty of options outside within a few minutes walking distance. There is a nice little park nearby, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont.

The matrass was thick but extremely soft, which gave one of us some back pain, and the soft, thin pillows were not great either. The room was small but with plenty of storage space. There was some noise from doors being closed and people walking on the floor above, but otherwise the hotel is quiet enough.

It was close to where I had to be and I had small view from the toilet. Bed was comfy.

the hotel reception could be just tiny bit fancy or the area in the stairs could be improved with some painting. But overall good care of everything.

Great hotel position in an interesting neighbourhood. Great proximity to the Avenue Verte cycle trail. Clean, secure, airy room.

Bike storage. The hotel is listed under the Acceuil Velo logo which includes safe bike storage in its policy. Our initial contact with the staff was not positive and we were reluctantly shown an area where we could store our bikes but we had to carry them up a flight of stairs.

very close proximity to a couple convenience stores and more importantly the metro station, staff were very nice and spoke english

Not like the pictures at all, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable along with no headboard. The bathroom was very tiny to the point we was unable to sit on the toilet properly.
