Living Hotel an der Oper

The first night was in Room 7, 4th floor. It was crazy, with a big lounge area and tables for 4. This was unexpected, and we did not need. There was no dressing table for my wife to use. There were no bedside tables and no bedside night light. The top of the bath was so high my wife with could not safely get in and out. There was no safety handle on the wall or attached to the bath. I could not safely shower. She was crying that the room was terrible. The front desk was sympathetic and we moved to 213. A newly refurbished bathroom, double basin and only the shower, and no bath. There was just liquid soap. No ladies shower cap. No lotion, as a hotel would provide, but overall a very nice room. Quiet. Drawing the curtains is difficult as they are very high. They need pulling rods attached at the top, which saves risk of damage and is common on tall curtains. TV had only CNN in English. Room 7 had BBC World. Not important. The front desk staff are all very helpful. Some cold milk at the coffee station and some tea bags would be nice. The situation by the Opera and the U bahn is excellent. We did not have the breakfast but went out nearby.

Excellent location, very nicely decorated, spacious room, our room had a well-equipped kitchenette. We liked it a lot!

Central and the staff were so helpful

Facilities weren’t the best and were a bit dated. But the staff made up for all of that. We arrived due to cancelled flights and they really facilitated us in every way they could
