The location is superb - right on Lake Windermere and very scenic. I thought the staff were brilliant - they seemed dedicated and hard working and friendly. They appeared to enjoy working at this YHA.
The bed was a little uncomfortable but not really bad so sleep was had!

The location and view of the lake.
Enough space for 3 of us and very clean.
Would definitely return for a stay.
Nothing it was fantastic

It is right on the lake and next to the pier. There is a dry room for your clothes that is free to use for guests. The staff were great to deal with and the price was very reasonable.
It is a bit of a walk (15mins) to get into Ambleside unless you use a bus. Also, the bathrooms are quite small and the sinks in them are very small, possibly the smallest I’ve ever used.
