Beckenham Park Hotel

Exceptional value for money! The property was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities, a lovely garden and a very comfortable bed. The location was fantastic, just around the corner from the train station, a 5–10 minute walk from the high street, and close to a beautiful park. The staff were incredibly friendly, pleasant and attentive. I also felt very safe, thanks to the secure entrance and key fob access.

Family run hotel in an old Victorian building. Really a B&B more than a hotel. Parking outside in front. Staff were very helpful - we asked for an extra day after our 3 day stay and they worked it out for us even though they were booked. Our room was family room had double bed and 1 single but a little bigger than other rooms. Had a nice back garden to sit in. Very close to Beckenham Junction train station - trains took 20 mins to London Victoria. Close to a grocery store called waitrose.

Very noisy room next door on one night. Had to bang on the door at 1am to ask them to stop yelling at each other. That was the only really bad thing. Breakfast was ok nothing special: boiled eggs, toast, cereal, cheese and ham, yogurts, various spreads. Coffee was from a machine. No other amenities at the hotel - nowhere to cook. Beckenham has some nice restaurants - you have to walk a bit to get to them but include Greek Mediterranean, Indian, Thai, Italian and Chinese/Japanese.

Window didn’t open far , no nets Thankfully we stayed when not hot Toilet needed a descale Breakfast wasn’t worth price of stay Yogurts, cooked meat and cheese not on adequate cool trays , need small cooling equipment for them . A better selection of breads would have been nice !
