Proximity to a wonderful beach, amenities and spa area. Staff is super helpful 👏🌞 shoutout to Andri for taking care of me during my stay. His support was amazing.

Needs a bit of renovation

Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön. Besonders gut gefallen uns die Ruheräume. Es war immer Platz vorhanden, man kann sich dort ganz ungestört entspannen. Es ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir waren ( ich & meiner Mann) bereits etwa dreimal am Wochenende dort, und es war nicht voll belegt, aber es war ja auch noch nicht ganz Winter. Am Nachmittag gibt es ein kleines Buffet für den kleinen Hunger. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet, im Landhausstil mit gepflegtem Holz. Das Badezimmer ist groß genug, hell und verfügt über ein separates WC. Der junge Kellner mit indischem Aussehen, der uns beim Abendessen und am Nachmittag bedient hat, war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Er hat sich daran erinnert, dass ich Geburtstag hatte, und hat eine Karte sowie Kuchen zum Frühstück organisiert. Ich habe mich sehr über diese Geste gefreut, sie war persönlich und aufmerksam, da ich das beim Abendessen nur kurz erwähnt hatte.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr warm, man konnte die Heizung nicht kälter einstellen. Wir mussten bei offenem Fenster schlafen, dann war es angenehm. Da es schon spät war, wollten wir das Zimmer nicht wechseln, und wir haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht.

I am not one to complain for the sake of it, but in my opinion this hotel is over-rated. We had a room with a bath but discovered that the hot water is temperature controlled at around 42c which is not very hot, but when I wanted a bath before dinner it ran cold. After a long drive that is really irritating. The real issue is the three course dinner. There is no choice for the starter or the pudding and only two for the main. We could not drink the onion and mushroom soup as it was so salty. That had to be returned in favour of a very plain green salad. The next course which consisted of beef, cabbage and potatoes was ruined by a very salty gravy. The pudding was some form of de-constructed cheese cake but I found it indelible as the texture was not pleasant and perhaps a little stale. So much for the gourmet dinner, serving food reminiscent of 30 years ago. The other irritation was a wine card that only had a couple of wines by the glass so no chance to taste decent German wine.
