I did not like the fact that I was checked out a day before the recorded time.
when requesting a shuttle, I was referred to a most expensive person, yet with a stinking car.
well I had to get off.... I mean what a rip-off to be charged R750 to the airport.

Location.
Outdated. Paint peeling off. Dull. Guest relations is poor. Though the accom states buffet offered, there was only an a la carte menu. Definitely not value for money. Rather disappointing for a premier hotel

Close to the ocean.
Challenge when I checked In as they could not get my reference number, it was as if I didn't reserve my booking. A person opening my door on the 1st night claiming to be security. Didn't feel safe,slept with 2chair pressing against the door.

Bed is a double bed and is not comfortable,they should put a glass door as the shower instead of using a curtain shower.the room smelled of cigarette smoke..the room design and furniture is outdated

The room was great, the bed was comfortable. Front desk was amazing, the ladies were very professional. The location was amazing, close to everything

The food is terrible. They honestly need to get more variety on their menu and get better chefs.I remember like 10 - 15 years ago..the Richards was the best hotel to be at in richardsbay.

Everything about the place it is quite and clean.we enjoyed
Only that the toilet was blocked on last day and we didn't use it that much because we were not there during the day.
