Plaz Hotel

Location and views were excellent. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Room was comfortable for a short stay.

Needed more space in the bathroom, and more pillows. Hot food at breakfast was cold.

The location is great, our sea facing room with a balcony was good & we they really helped us with an early checkin while we enjoyed a superb lunch in the restaurant right opposite on the beach.

The hotel is nicely located, staff was friendly.

The Wi-Fi in our room was essentially unusable, despite the hotel advertising free Wi-Fi in all areas. I needed to work during the evening, and simple tasks that should have taken minutes took hours. I reported the problem during our stay, and a staff member kindly tried restarting the router, but unfortunately this did not resolve it. We were offered the Wi-Fi in the restaurant/reception area, which worked somewhat better, but this was not a practical solution when I needed to work from around 5 a.m. The following morning, we were also unable to download the cycling maps we needed for our onward journey. What disappointed me most was how the issue was handled afterward. The hotel acknowledged in writing that the Wi-Fi signal in our room had been poor, but still declined any partial refund or goodwill adjustment. They also suggested that because I was later able to post a Google review, I must have had internet access...even though that review was posted later, when I had a working connection again. Technical problems happen, and I don’t expect perfection. But when an advertised amenity isn’t reasonably usable and the guest reports it during the stay, I would expect the hotel to acknowledge the inconvenience and make some effort to put things right. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen here.
