I have stayed in Samran on all my trips to Thailand (Bangkok), and I love the location as it's close to most malls around. Rooms are good, toilet is clean. Value for money. Breakfast is awesome at Samran.

Location was good, close to the rail and central to access the city.
Bed was comfortable. Shower was good
Wifi reliable. Breakfast was basic but nice.
Not enough electric plugs.
Noise from roadworks but fairly ok at night for a city hotel.

It was clean and we got the big room which was very comfortable apart from the balcony.
There is a balcony advertised but you are not allowed to use it, no chairs to sit and chill. Just the air condition unit. Location wise it is close to the shopping mall, 20 min walk.

"I loved this place! A kind of old fashioned hotel, but in the best possible way - attentive staff, nice breakfast, good sized rooms. Adored the cafe at the entrance, sat down there late at night watch..."
