Great location in the centre of Saint Albans, very rustic, lots of character.
The bathroom was very small, it reminded of the type of bathroom you'd get in a caravan, the shower was very tight, it was a bathroom you "stepped into" as opposed to walk into if that makes sense, it was fine, nothing fancy.

Great location, right opposite the cathedral. Very convenient for exploring the area and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast.
The property is an old building with a lot of character, so it’s important to keep that in mind when booking. The rooms reflect the age and style of the property, so you shouldn’t expect modern, standard hotel rooms - although they are refurbished and clean. If you appreciate historic buildings and their unique character, this is something to consider when choosing to stay here.
We enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it for a short stay.
Very small bathroom

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast at a good price. Quirky interesting building well adapted for guests requirements. Beds are really comfortable.
Limited parking, but as midweek managed to park easily. No lift as old building which may limit some people.
