The property was clean and tidy the staff where great
There was nothing wrong with the hotel just the poor staff where run ragged, they where behind the bar then he had to run to the reception for us as the heating in our room wasn’t working, got us a fan heater
Then he cooked our dinner!!!!
So not enough staff to run a big hotel like that

The rooms were very spacious, located next door to each other, breakfast was good, and staff were friendly.
We’d have preferred option of a family room. The piano needed tuning in communal area. The pool area needed few tiles repaired and sauna wasn’t working. Blinds were not available in one of the bathrooms, badly fitting net curtain only!

Staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was very good with excellent portions. Rooms had enough space.
The bar was poorly stocked. No lemonade at all. (Not sure why they couldn't have just bought a couple of bottles in?). Some beers not present. The wine we required was not available and the coffee machine did not work in the bar. Breakfast was adequate but lukewarm, yet the serving utensils were too hot to hold some of the time.

Location was good, nice quiet area and the actual bedroom was nice
The bathroom looked tatty, sink surfaces lifting and peeling. Bath panel warped. Seriously in need of an update. The bed was very uncomfortable too.
