Berida Hotel

The room is comfortable, cozy, well equipped and well maintained. There is sufficient car parking. The restaurant and bar are great and the staff are very helpful and friendly

Nothing

The wonderful old charm and no giant tv screens in the common areas

I think Aspinalls Bar needs to be completely set up prior to opening as the guests had to go back and forth to the restaurant to order drinks while Aspinalls bar manager was collecting fire wood and stocking the bar area.

Love the new gym facility, lots of equipment and even towels provided. Also in this new section was a games room with a pool table and some board games. 24/7 concierge access, we checked in late and was super quick and easy. Went to the buffet breakfast closer to the end time. The ladies there were lovely, super vigilant with levels of food, ensuring we had plenty of food and fresh hashbrowns and bacon for us. The same area looked busy when we went past at dinner and lunch, wished we had more time to try it out!

Unfortunately pool and spa not available. But next time it might be open.

Nice old school hotel that reminds you of hotels from the early 1900’s. With modern amenities. Central to everything. Straight across the road from the golf club. Be good when they finish the renovations next door and gym. EV charging out the back. Nice bar and restaurant. There best part of the hotel room was the great water pressure. Shower was awesome.

I’ve stayed in places half that price and they’ve let me in well prior to check in so I could work. Not here. Even half an hour prior to checking in I wasn’t allowed to check in. Was directed to some den to work but there was no desk or anything for a laptop. Then by the time it was check in I was in a queue of 6. A little disappointed with that. The room didn’t have a work desk after all that. Just a coffee table.
