I was very pleased with the hotel. From the super friendly staff, the spacious room and toilet, and having a little kitchenette where i could fix my own tea/coffee etc. The location was perfect, right next to the train station and the ferry terminal, which for me was super convenient.

If i need to find something that could be better i would only say i was missing some scrambled eggs for breakfast, but overall i found the breakfast service quite good!

Being in this old station building was something very special, we liked it very much. A little highlight at the end of our holiday in Sweden.

Old station reconverted in hotel, close to train station and old city. The rooms are nice and big and we could self check in as we arrived after the check-in hours. Breakfast was included, we missed some more sweet things but all in all was good. It has a kitchen and a common living room that can be used any time.

Basically if you need a place just to sleep, Stationen is a very good option. The breakfast was simple and good. I liked the decoration and the staff was super friendly! Stationen is 5-10 walking distance from restaurants and bars and just next to the bus and train station.

Even if we had a private toilet at the hallway, it's not very comfortable. Not sure about the cleanliness especially the bathroom. There were not shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom.

Easy check in method when arriving late with a code. Nice atmosphere in old train station. The breakfast was good and everything was fresh. I liked that there was a kitchen where you could take coffee/tea and put your things in a fridge/freezer. The room itself was neat and clean.

The ceiling in the room was diagonal. Since we are tall we bumped our heads a few times.

The breakfast was fantastic! They set out a lovely spread of homemade bread, meats, cheeses, fruit salad, eggs, and more. The staff member hosting the breakfast was incredibly sweet. She made sure to bring us a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. The room you eat the breakfast in transforms into a super cute wine bar and restaurant in the evening. I recommend you come back and check it out for dinner too!

Not a huge deal at all, but we think it would be great of them to update their TVs to something that allows you to cast your apple phone onto them. It worked for Samsung but not apple phones. Again, not a dealbreaker by any means, and why would you want to be inside watching TV anyways. :)

Perfect location, wonderful decoration. the room was comfy and the breakfast was very nice. wonderful place to stay in Ystad!!!!

Really convenient to the ferry and the train station. We travelled by Ferry from Germany and was walking distance to the terminal which saved a taxi ride.

Everything was great; the only minor drawback is the lack of staff on the premises at night, which is not reassuring in case of a fire alarm (as was the case during our stay)

The staff were helpful and flexible and the location is convenient for the train (it's in the old railway station and next to the track) and the ferry terminal. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean.

This hotel has the feel of a youth hostel at a hotel price. There are no real common areas and all charm has been removed from the building - long corridors with modern fire-doors lead to small rooms, basic rooms. The reception closes at 5pm so service is minimal. The sea view is really a view of the back of the less-than-lovely ferry terminal (though it's true you can just about see the sea too). The photography suggests a stylish old boutique-style hotel - I think their photographer should win an award. The breakfast was a minimal-effort 'continental' affair with some bland cheese, blander coffee, Lipton's Yellow Label "tea", croissants, packet cereal... you know the kind of thing.

Our room faced the train station, so there was some noise during the night.

Amazing and beautiful old house. Very well decorated. Cozy and comfortable room. It was a room under the roof and you can actually see the sea from the window. It's just a skylight, but it's exactly as you see in the photos. Very nice and helpful stuff. Good breakfast with a big selection of different things to eat. The keybox (we arrived later than the check-in) also worked very well. It was not very loud at night and you can park for 5€ (24 hours) next to the building. Perfect and relaxing start into our holidays. Thank you so much!

We liked everything. It is only a mini-improvement suggestion - an extra bath mat would be great :)
