Sun Siyam Vilu Reef - 24 Hours All-Inclusive Dine-Around with Complimentary Return Trip

Beautiful beaches, beautiful ocean, great riff for snorkelling by the hotel (starting by flag 1 until flag 3), our host answered through the day in mostly 2 minutes, our host fulfilled our (small) wishes, in the all inclusive package are milk shakes, mocktails, cocktails, juices etcetera included, by the (free) dolphin tour we have seen playful dolphins, the reef villa was clean, big, had a bath tub and more (and a great view), for the sea plane there was a VIP lounge with free food and showers (if you need it). The food was good and changed every day and you could ask for extras (we good every evening crème brûlée for example). There was also a souvenir shop (with sunscreen, cameras, waterproof smartphone cases, bathing suits, magnets, plushies etcetera) and a jeweler. I could tell more, and if the price stays the same, we will definitely come back to the Sun Siyam Vilu Resort

The tours were to expensive.

Avendo soggiornato più volte presso il Sun siam iru veli, il divario tra le due strutture e’ pesante ed evidente. Sicuramente non perfetta la posizione, di fronte ad una isola locale abitata da cui proveniva ogni genere di rumore e odore. ALTRO CHE LA PACE E IL SILENZIO DELL IRU VELI. Altro aspetto carente IL CIBO. Io sono celiaca e spesso mi sono ritrovata a non avere cibo dedicato, potendo quindi ordinare solo riso e grigliata di pesce per quasi tutta la vacanza, tanto da finire pure intossicata al termine. MAI E DICO MAI pollo o carne alla griglia.

The place is amazing, like heaven. But the best thing is the feeling that is like being home. The staff is very kind, we spent two weeks there and we felt everyday more than welcomed. We had already been in Sun Siyam Iru Veli, but here the atmosphere is more familiar. Special mention to Chaminda, sous chef of one of the restaurant (Aqua), who cooked for us amazing fish and Sri Lankan foods. But also: Cella and Sabiul

There are currently some works on the island. They have just built brand new villas and there are some works in the nearby. The older villas (the one in brown wood) need to be rejuvenated. They are super comfortable but they need a refresh.

Staff on the whole island 10/10 friendliness and helpfulness. Spa and massage with Karmini 10/10 Cesar salad from Spice restaurant 10/10 Arrival, transfer, lounge in Malé, welcome at the island 10/10 departure & help at Malé airport (tight connection) 10/10 Captain Kayya and his dolphins Butler service great West beaches if the island are beautiful & nice breeze

Island 2/10 big construction on the South of the island, basically the long sandbank showing on their website and booking com does not exist, there are long construction fences and new buildings are constructed which is noisy and ugly with cranes and drilling. There is nowhere mentioned in the booking that there is no access to 1/4 of the island Villa and beach in front 1/10 The eastern part of the island is an artificial beach with absolutely no air to breathe. I live in Dubai and I am used to heat but there it is unbearable to even sit for a minute besides 5 am. No wind, no air, artificial beach, sand mixed with corals. View on a local industrial island. Beach barely for swimming due to walls and again construction. Always workers around.
