Recital Hotel

Location is very central to the old Mosques and the Grand Bazaar, you can walk everywhere, but try the hop on hop off bus as it's a great tour but go in the morning as 4pm peak hour traffic is bedlam. The T1 tram is great value, use your Mastercard at the gate you can go the whole length if you like for one low price per journey. The ferries are the same and an excellent way to see the Bosphorus. But for around $18 you can get a 3hr tour boat road along the Bosphorus a great way to see all of Istanbul and some give you 45 min stop over on the Eastside for lunch. Break fast in the main room was well stocked, no room service breakfast. The hotel is friendly, the beds were a touch firmer but still comfortable.

No room service, no plug in the bathroom sink, no minibar only water. TV is all in Turkish (except BBC news and CNN).

Housekeeping could have been a little better. Had to point out after 2 days we were out of soap.

The location was fantastic, easy walk to all the main sights. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a feast!

The rooms are large but the furniture is dated and the bathrooms need a refresh.

The location Cleaners are excellent. Day staff is lovely, Shows willingness to help when ask them for an info.

Breakfast is the same everyday. The Old man who is on duty at night is not pleasant.
