We spent one night at Tsuchiya and had a great stay. We were welcomed by the owners who were very helpful at explaining the town and onsens and provide yukatas and towels. The property is well located at the end of the street and easy to walk to the onsens.
Breakfast was very good (including vegetarian) and although we had no shower in the room, we used the onsen and shower in the annex without having to wait.
The room was well equipped and the futon comfortable, and very quiet so we had a great sleep!

The friendliness of the family & staff that run the hotel is exceptional, they make you feel most welcome & a part of their “family”.

Friendly reception, very comfortable room, quiet and immaculately clean. Breakfast in the annex across the road was freshly prepared and very good. Access to the onsens and the cable car was very convenient.
Maybe it would be good to have a safe-box in the room
