the loft environment is better than a conventional room configuration

Parking is excellent. The H2O restaurant at the hotel is very good. The bed (although only a queen bed) is very comfortable. We had a lovely room overlooking the river. The room was very quiet and the air conditioning worked very well.
Breakfast is not available at the hotel but there is a reasonable cafe that does early breakfast almost next door. The hotel is in need of a refit (late 1980s style) but is clean and comfortable.

The bed was comfortable. Good space in the bathroom.
The little balcony is jus lovely with a view of the river.
There is a restaurant next door and and great cafe 2 doors down, both with nice food and river views.
It has a nice relaxing feel and you can walk all along the river on the path.
Because it was a step in bath/ shower, you could put a hand rail in for stepping in and out of. for support.

Very noisy patrons on the same floor, loud conversation and general noise till 11.30+ at night.
I had an early start at 4am and didn't think I would need earplugs so I could go to sleep
Also I left my special orthopedic foam pillow and was not notified... I was in Bundaberg all day for work, I could have picked in up.
